- Tell us about your business. Share your location, business type, brewing setup and expected coffee use. It’s fine if you’re still estimating.
- Taste the coffee. Tell us which coffees you would like to try and we’ll ship samples free of charge.
- Confirm your account details. We’ll agree on coffee, quantities, pricing and fulfillment before your first order.
Ordering and delivery
Standard wholesale orders start at 20 lb per order of any of our six coffees, packed in 1 lb or 5 lb bags.
Enrolled accounts join our delivery route for $15 per delivery, which costs less than shipping 20 lb of coffee by mail. The route covers San Francisco, Oakland, Richmond, Concord, Walnut Creek, Vallejo, San Rafael, Novato and San Jose. Outside those cities we ship by USPS at cost.
Orders are packed and dispatched within one business day. Payment is due on receipt unless your account agreement says otherwise. Pricing is quoted for your account, and we reply to every inquiry within one business day.
If you need coffee under your own label, we’ll discuss packaging and order requirements separately.
Certified kosher coffee
Every coffee we roast is certified kosher (pareve) by Sunrise Kosher Certification Services, including all six Legacy Blends. The certification covers bulk and retail coffee roasted at 2813 Seventh Street, and the current certificate runs through April 30, 2027. It does not cover Passover.
If your synagogue, school, community center or catering business needs the certificate for its records, ask and we’ll send it.

What is your minimum wholesale order?
Our standard wholesale minimum is 20 lb per order. White-label packaging and order requirements are discussed separately with our team.
Can I try the coffee first?
Yes, and samples ship free. Request them through the inquiry form or email orders@houseofuncommongrounds.com, and tell us about your business and which coffees interest you.
How much does delivery cost?
Enrolled accounts on our delivery route pay $15 per delivery. The route covers San Francisco, Oakland, Richmond, Concord, Walnut Creek, Vallejo, San Rafael, Novato and San Jose. Elsewhere we ship by USPS at cost.
How quickly do orders go out?
Orders are packed and dispatched within one business day.

Is your coffee kosher?
Yes. Sunrise Kosher Certification Services certifies every coffee we roast as pareve. The certification is year-round apart from Passover, and we can send the letter for your records.
Do you deliver across the Bay Area?
Our $15 route covers San Francisco, Oakland, Richmond, Concord, Walnut Creek, Vallejo, San Rafael, Novato and San Jose. If you are outside those cities, include your address in your inquiry and we will quote shipping.
Can I sell your coffee under my own label?
Yes. Our white-label offering puts our Legacy Blends under your business’s label. Visit White-Label Coffee to tell us about your plans.
Do you create custom blends?
We roast six Legacy Blends and offer those under your own label, rather than developing a separate blend for each customer. Tell us how you want the coffee to taste and we’ll point you to the Legacy Blend that comes closest.
Can we visit the roastery?
Yes, by appointment. Contact us before visiting 2813 Seventh Street in West Berkeley so we can arrange a time.
